Latin America on the BBC – Race Across the World Episode 2

Race Across the World: Mexico City to Ushuaia

In this BBC travel series, the cameras follow five teams of two people as they race from the top to bottom of Latin America – from Mexico City to the most southerly city in the world, Ushuaia in Argentina. Amongst the teams are a married couple, a brother and sister, a mother and son, an uncle and nephew and a couple who have been together for just three years. Great viewing for the armchair traveller.

In Episode 2, the teams travel from Copan in Honduras through El Salvador, Nicaragua and Costa Rica in a race to reach the Panama Canal.

The series is broadcast on Sunday evenings on BBC2. It is available on the iPlayer for 7 months.
