Spotlight on the Lost City

Located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, Ciudad Perdida (Lost City) is the archaeological site believed to have been founded about 800 AD. The only way to reach the Lost City is on foot and the trek is a total of 5 days. Local tribes call the city “Teyuna” and believe it was the heart of a network of villages inhabited by the Tairona. The trek involves long periods of walking uphill through dense vegetation, wading rivers and sleeping in hammocks – an experience and memories will truly last a life time!
